Tessa Rossi joined Elizabeth Christian & Associates Public Relations as an account associate in February 2012. Although born and raised in New York City, she attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. Rossi gained valuable public relations, advertising and marketing experience working for a non-profit organization and a large public relations firm during her undergraduate pursuit and post-graduation.

Her first internship at People and Animal Learning Services (PALS) in Bloomington, Ind., offered therapeutic, equine-assisted activities to children and adults with physical, learning, cognitive or emotional disabilities. As public relations and event chairperson of PALS’ annual Beer/Wine Tasting & Silent Auction, she successfully organized their largest fundraiser to date, which increased philanthropic contributions by more than 162 percent from the previous year.

After graduation, Rossi moved to Indianapolis to work for Hirons & Company Public Relations and Advertising. During her time at Hirons, she worked with several large clients, including the Indianapolis Indians, Wishard Hospital, Titanic’s Traveling Exhibition, Devour Downtown, City of Indianapolis and many more. This experience helped enhance her knowledge in both event planning and media relations.

After a brief visit to Austin in early 2012, Rossi decided to relocate and continue her public relations career here in Texas. She currently works with state and local clients at ECPR, such as St. David’s HealthCare, Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and Harden Healthcare.
